Sean is a former radio and television personality, motivational speaker and marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience. He developed an interest in mind/body medicine when he created the national media platform for the country’s busiest health–care system. Sean received his masters in Theological Studies from Vision University in Ramona California and was a Nouthetic Counselor for over 10 years. His driving consciousness is connecting with the healing power of the human spirit and elevating our connectivity with each other on a daily basis. The result is The Healing Continuum.

A New Approach to Mind-Body Healing

The Healing Continuum.com (THC)™, is a one-of-a kind health information resource designed to give you greater control over your health, relationships and life. Our holistic approach to health is based on the premise that beneficial relationships with our friends, family, environment and even our health–care providers contribute greatly to lower disease risks, better clinical outcomes and greater longevity.

Increasingly, we live as if health and wellness can be maintained through vigilant medical testing, exercise and diet alone. Of course, these factors are an important part of the equation, but The Healing Continuum explores the other critical element—the role human connection plays in staying well and getting the most out of life.

At least five large studies, including recent research from the University of Chicago Institute for Mind and Biology, report a solid connection between loneliness and cardiovascular disease, cancer and a host of other illnesses. Yet at a time when Americans are more concerned than ever about good health, we are failing to maintain the bonds that sustain us. A recently released study examining social isolation in America, over a period of 20 years, conducted at the University of Arizona and Duke University, found the number of Americans who speak to people who are not their relatives declined from 80.1 percent to 57.2 percent. That is a drop of 28.5 percent between 1985 and 2004. A 2001 study, conducted at New York University, found North Americans scored higher than their Spanish counterparts on five factors related to the experience of loneliness, including feelings of social inadequacy, alienation, interpersonal.

There’s no doubt we need each other, just as much as we need access to quality medical care, a clean environment and careful self care to stay healthy. That is why The Healing Continuum’s combination of expert advice on disease risks, exercise, nutrition and mental health, along with professional psychological self-assessment tools is designed to help you create a revolution from within. We will give you an opportunity to explore complex emotional issues and answer your personal questions about depression, anxiety, social phobias, love relationships as well as other topics and learn how to have the best possible relationships with your family, your friends and most importantly, yourself. If you want to delve deeper, you can use our library of medical and mental health topics.
